A Needle is an item in Pathologic 2. It can be bought from tailors or Bad Grief, looted from containers and bodies, randomly obtained from opening packages or bartered with Townsfolk. Needles can be used to pick small locks on drawers, cabinets or cupboards. A Needle is needed for the first workshop upgrade made to the Haruspex's inventory in his Lair.

The Haruspex Prologue hover quote is a reference to the story of Koschei the Deathless^[1], who hid his soul or his death inside objects which themselves were hidden other objects in order to avoid death.
