Pathologic (2005)

General

• What?
• Stop wagging your tongues!
• Something is wrong with my head.
• Do I see double?
• They twisted my foot! Now I cannot walk.
• How can I repair my leg?
• Where is my cat again? Did he run away?
• Smells like burning. Do they burn trash?
• Where did these devils get lost?
• The hair is good, but the head was chopped off.

Day 1

• (Bachelor) Damned Haruspicus has understood nothing! Has missed the traitor. Well, all right.
• (Bachelor) Here everyone speaks, "murderer". No! Nobody will kill Simon Kain. I did not believe.
• (Haruspex) The doctor from the capital did not turn out a sap. Dangerous man.
• (Changeling) I think shabnak-adyr really exists. But how can one recognize her?

Day 2

Day 3

• (Bachelor) Haruspicus has not interceded for our people. And I counted on him. Burakh!
• (Bachelor) What is this illness?
• (Haruspex) Clara was here. And my head, as if it fell off, I remember nothing...

Day 4

• (Bachelor) Have you heard? The gangsters cut people with knives. Absolutely enraged.

• (Haruspex) The soldiers were brought by a famous general. The winner at Skerries!
• (Haruspex) Something's going on in the Tower. Shall I make peace with Khan?

Day 10

• (Haruspex) Such town will never again turn out at us. It's impossible to pull it down.
• (Haruspex) So, the Bachelor is interested in how the Tower's arranged. Well, well.

Day 11

• (Haruspex) The bull has disappeared!
• (Haruspex) Khan has quarreled with my [sic] sister. They say he will join us, with all his army! Well, I never.

Day 12

• My branch was named "Dualsouls". I wanted to create amicable brotherhood of children and animals.
• If such children, castaways like me, survive, the whole Town will become a Town of People. Capella will entrust it to us. We are the future of this land.

• They screwed my foot up! I can't walk on my own, now.

• I smell smoke. Are they burning trash again?

• In trouble to be troubled is to have your trouble doubled.

Day 1

• (Bachelor) Damn Haruspex! Didn't understand a thing, and missed the traitor for good measure. Oh well.
• (Bachelor) Murdered, murdered. Damn. No one can kill Simon Kain. No way.
• (Haruspex) That big-city doctor doctor is no wimp. A dangerous type.
• (Changeling) I think shabnak-adyr is for real. But how do you spot her?

Day 2

Day 3

• (Bachelor) Haruspex never came to our defense. And I counted on him. Some Burakh he is.
• (Bachelor) What is this disease?
• (Haruspex) Clara dropped by... and then my head was like... gone! I can't remember a thing!

Day 4

• (Bachelor) Have you heard? The bandits are cutting people. They went batshit.
• (Bachelor) They say Clara can hold knives in mid-air. Is that true?
• (Haruspex) Bachelor wants to turn the Cathedral into a hospital. Is he completely bonkers?!
• (Changeling) Bachelor's tested old drugs. Five people have died. A big city quack.

Day 5

• (Haruspex) Well? What do you have to drink so you won't catch it?
• (Haruspex) Is it true there's a manhunt? Oooh, I'd like to hear more about that!
• (Changeling) News, news. Bachelor needs a guinea pig for his experiments.

Day 6

• (Haruspex) So. Albino was killed tonight. Under the abdominal ropes?
• (Haruspex) Clara tried to crawl underground? To the prophet? Fat chance!

Day 7

• (Haruspex) The worst lies ahead.
• (Haruspex) Changeling is sitting pretty once again. Running errands for the Inquisitor these days.

Day 8

• (Haruspex) The Abattoir is to blame. I’ve always said that.
• (Haruspex) Clara is a head taller now. So above herself. Changeling.

Day 9

• (Haruspex) The soldiers are led by a famous commander. The champion of the scariest himself!
• (Haruspex) Something's on in the Tower. Should I maybe make peace with Khan?

Day 10

• (Haruspex) We'll never recreate a town such as this. It mustn’t be destroyed.
• (Haruspex) So, Bachelor wants to know how the Tower works. Mm-hmm...

Day 11

• (Haruspex) The bull is gone!
• (Haruspex) Khan is at odds with his sister. Rumor has it, he's joined our lot with his whole army. What a twist!

Day 12

• My path was called "Soul-and-a-Halves". I wanted to create a tight brotherhood of children and animals.
• If we, the outcast children, live, the Town will grow to be a Town of Men. Capella will entrust us with it. We're the future of this land.

Pathologic 2

• A dog's mind is smaller than a man's, but the heart is so much greater.
