Pathologic Classic
General
- Yes?
- What?
- I see everything.
- I'll never fall ill.
- I've got almost no toys left.
- My right eye is only half-closed when I'm tilted.
- Feels like I'm gaping.
- They never show me anything. They won't let me outside!
- What's with the racket upstairs? Where did everyone go?
- What is this? What's going on? Who was screaming?
- Misfortunes never come alone. That's what Dad used to say.
Days 1-6
- None
Day 7
- (Haruspex) So this Changeling will replace the condemned?
- (Changeling) What is the new Warden after anyway? Does he want to take dad's place?
- (Haruspex / Changeling) When does our regular train arrive?
Day 8
- (Bachelor) Clara is a head taller now. Yeah.
- (Haruspex) Changeling has a haughty attitude. She knows something.
- (Changeling) With all this digging, Bachelor will dig down to the buried dead. What if the source of the disease is indeed underground?
- So the lady that came here decided to look into the Abattoir. Nothing good will come out of this.
Day 9
- (Bachelor / Changeling) The soldiers aren't treating anyone badly yet, are they? Don't let them in here!
- (Bachelor / Changeling) Everything happens to Burakh is a trial. What if he fails it?
Day 10
- (Bachelor) Burakh, the Warden, sided with Capella. Bad luck for Clara.
- (Changeling) The guy that made the Tower, Peter Stamatin. I mean, he woke up to reality. I know it all.
- (Bachelor / Haruspex) There's a hint of authority in Clara's voice.
- (Haruspex / Changeling) There's a bull in the Lot. It's that aurochs that the Foreman failed to open, isn't it?
Day 11
- (Bachelor) The bull is gone!
- (Bachelor) The old priest is dead. Glory to the new one.
Day 12
- My path was called "Mother of the Bulls". If Kin's been left alive, I'd rule it in my dad's place.
- If we, the outcast children, live, the Town will grow to be a Town of Men. Capella will entrust us with it. We're the future of this land.
Pathologic 2
- One for death and two for birth, three for wind and four for earth…
- Humans. My little well-behaved humans…
- They call me Mother Superior. Superior! That means better than you.
- Shall I tell you a shaggy dog story?
- We'll soon fly south and nest there. A good, warm nest… yes.
- Knock knock. Who's there? The heart…
- Better the child cry than the mother sigh.
- Let's tear it open and count the contents.
- Coins taste weird… taste like wealth, I guess. Or blood.
- I'll take you to your end… rend… tend… mend…
- So you need an upper hand. A foot in the door! A head… let's leave the head screwed on for now.
- The priest is dead. Long live the priest!
- What're you doing rooting around in here, anyway? Are you looking to replace Dad?
- Buds bear flowers, clocks bear hours, bones bear… nothing. They're just bones.
- Animals don't befriend people. People might steal their power, y'see.
- Rough as dutch, safe to touch. Smooth as bone, leave it alone.
- So what?
- Nuh huh.
- Heads or tails? Heads. Heads, heads, always heads.
- Needles and pins, buttons and tins, knives and skins…
- I think your nose was stitched in place inside-out.
- I see everything. Everything!
- I'll never, ever fail!
- I'm almost out of toys.
- When I tilt my head back, my right eye doesn't close all the way like it should…
- Look here. It's as though I was peeking, huh?
- They never let me see anything.… they won't let me go outside!
- So much noise upstairs. Where did everyone go?
- Where's grandpa Isidor? Why did he stop coming by?
- Ill fates come in threes. That's what Dad used to say.
- My path was called… something or another. I forget. Had something… something to do with bulls.
